Bio

I am a Music Professor, graduated from the Institute of Music Caliendo Conservatory. Then I specialized myself in jazz, tango, several branches of the folk tradition, klezmer, ska, reggae and contemporary music.

My formation in sax was leaded by great masters of the scene in Argentina such as R. Delems, S. Jacobson, Hugo Pierre, and Marcelo Peralta.

At the age of 17 I formed part of the group of international music “Shekel”

In 1984 I founded the group of folkloric fusion Questoquelotro. In 1987 I participated in the spectacle of collective improvisation directed by the professor Adolfo Reisin in the Recoleta Cultural and arts center. In 1990 I played in the Manolo Yanes Quartet that carried out numerous performances (central foyer of the Theater San Martin, amphitheater of the Cultural Center “Paseo la Plaza” in Buenos Aires, “Sala Enrique Muiño” , Oliverio Bar, Amphitheater of ATE (Workers Asociation) , Fair of Expositions Figueroa Alcorta, sharing the scenary with musicians of the size of Litto Nebbia and Fats Fernández, among others; and numerous performances in Buenos Aires for the CDM ( Office of the secretary of Culture).
In the following years I was expanding my professional and musical spectrum and focused myself in musical composition, I integrated the acoustic group of contemporary music “Escaramuza”, that was presented in the arts center “Ricardo Rojas” and performed in the arts and Culture center Gral San Martin with “La Banda Gaucha” (Latin-American folklore) directed by Rubén Lobo (drummer of the great Argentine singer Mercedes Sosa).

In 1997 I obtained a special mention as instrumentalist in the festival Takuareé in Paraguay, and in the seminar on guaranític culture in the University of Asunción (Paraguay). I made a cycle of shows with Ramón Ayala (“El Mensu”) in Oliverio Allways and in the CONGRESS OF THE NACION. In 2000 with my quartet “Querencia del Folklore” I participated eight times in the program “Folklore Todo el Año” (Folklore All Year Long) a well known TV show.

At present times I am a performer in these bands: DANCING MOOD, MEDERSON JAZZ QUARTET, and I have just featured my first work as a soloist ATEMPORALIAS Y TRASCENDENCIA (“ATEMPORALIAS AND TRASCENDENCE”. )
All this while I dedicate myself to play as a sessionist, and to my private study, where I teach sax, audioperceptive and improvisation to all kinds of instruments players, and singers; and to artistic production of independent records.
